Gabriel “Raeivet” Capulong is a photographer from Southern California.
After adventuring through his first photo course at Ventura College, Gabriel quickly switched paths from Journalism to Photography, developing an interest in portraiture and street photo. Concurrently, League of Legends and Street Fighter III: Third Strike caught his attention, occupying his free-time with friends when he eventually discovered professional play in esports. Hooked by the gameplay and inspired by the stories like those of JWong and Doublelift, he realized he wanted to dive deeper into esports. Since then, Gabriel became more involved, establishing the first esports club at Ventura College while continuing to develop his skills as an artist.
In May of 2017, Gabriel earned an Associates Degree in Studio Art at Ventura College and received a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from California State University Channel Islands in May of 2019.
Still inspired and fascinated by the community of esports, Gabriel continues to create art surrounding its players, artists, fans, and everything in between. Motivated by his unforgettable experiences, Gabriel wishes to share these stories with the world to give everyone else a glimpse into the space with a new perspective of esports and what it means to be a gamer.
